WHO WE ARE

We are Christian founded non profit religious organization registered with the government of the Republic of Uganda in Soroti District local government  and also registered as a 501(C) 3 non profit religious organization by state of Oregon  with six  Directors, from different states in USA and Uganda. Whose mission is to share the Gospel of salvation of Jesus Christ to unreached as it’s a command by God, as the scripture says in Mark 16:15 and to give life, hope and love to the orphans, vulnerable children and the poor communities in Uganda.

We are ordinary people who are responding to God’s calling doing extraordinary work for God to accomplish God’s great commission as His servants,

We are one team with different God’s transformative testimonies in our lives with one mission, one mindedness, filled with compassion to the orphans ,abandoned children, widows, and the elderly in poverty stricken communities to serve God as servants with selflessness for the Glory of God and passionate to preach the truth from God’s word that win lost souls for Christ in all creations.

We are accountable in everything we do, with a complete mind of accountability to God, knowing that we shall be answerable to God in the judgment day as the scripture says in Romans 14:12

we are propelled by our complete faith in God in everything we do and his provision to the ministry( Matthew 21:22 “And whatever things you ask in prayer , believing, you will receive” ). For our faith in God is who we are today, because everything we have prayed for by faith has been answered in our ministry.

 We do everything with the highest level of integrity, so that people see Christ in us for the glory of God as the scripture says in Proverbs11:3.

We are absolute Hope that Christ gives in times of hopelessness to the Unreached with the Gospel of salvation, orphans, vulnerable children, widows, old and we love with all our hearts, with selflessness, so that people God has led us to serve realize the unfailing love of God in them through us .

We love because God is love and our love to the people we serve is a reflection of God’s love ,(John 13:34-35) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”. So that the people we serve will have have life in Christ

We tirelessly work for total transformation of lives both spiritually and physically for the glory of God, this makes us different from others, committed to Jesus Christ in all that we do.

we are Christ centered, Jesus Christ is the core of our ministry, his life and teachings shape our calling to serve God.

THIS IS HOW WE WORK

In our vision as a ministry in accomplishing God’s great commission(Mark 16:15)

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. is to have a society where Christ is seen in the lives of those that we Preach to and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior , the orphans, vulnerable children , widows, the old and poverty stricken communities, through the approach of complete transformation and turn around of lives both Spiritually and physically, so that those who see God’s transformed lives will also receive Jesus Christ as lord and savior.

we preach the Gospel of salvation of truth from God’s word that win lost souls to Christ,

we gather Christians that we lead to Christ to Bible teaching fellowships in different locations where they will often meet so that we can disciple and build them the in Christ in the word of God,

we donate Bibles to Christians that we lead to Christ and Christian who don’t have Bibles and are hungry for the word of God, since we know that the only way a Christ can grow in Christ is through reading God’s word (2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness) , since Satan fears our discovery of God’s word , because our ignorance of it is the most effective weapon he can use against us, God has called to give Bible for free , and everyone around the world should get a copy of a Bible before Jesus Christ returns through this ministry

We Baptize by immersion Christians that we lead to Christ as Jesus said to the Disciples Matthew 28:19-22 “ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 

We are driven by our believe that love and life found Christ gives birth to hope found in Christ through his death and resurrection from the cross of cavalry, this is what describes our logo

we are also driven by our passion to let Christ be seen in everything we do in the lives of those that we lead to Christ ,poverty stricken orphans, abandoned children , vulnerable children, widows, the old at all costs, so that those who see the work of God in their lives can inturn give their lives to Christ and God takes all the glory and honor

Ekadu Moses(founder, Director and Chief Executive officer) and His wife Beatrice Faith Apio(Director and treasurer Uganda) both are born and live in Soroti Uganda Africa, they are blessed with four children , three are biological children(one girl and two boys) one is adopted girl,

Both Moses and Beatrice are founders of Mark of Hope International ,

God gave Moses the vision to start His work from his childhood and it was in 2006 when God made seen the vision in his life to establish God’s great work, He did not let vision remain stagnant but by faith he worked very hard with God’s guidance to make the vision stand regardless of his humble background being born from a very poor family , growing up as total orphan,He is just an ordanary man who many people had no hope of anything good coming out of him but God had his special plan in him to establish God’s great work with his wife Beatricewho stood by his side prayerfully, supported the vision from God and it was until 2017 when God opened doors and led ordinary people but who are called by God and love God to establish God’s great work at Mark of Hope International , Mark David Amoss and his dear wife Janice carol become the first founding family to support the vision and joined by Robin Maddox from Alabama, Don Carlson from Texas and the sponsors we have are ordinary people called by God to the ministry and God led them to the ministry by faith. and have seen God’s transformative testimonies in their lives while supporting this ministry

Robin Maddux resides in Eva Alabama together with her husband James Maddux Jr. and her youngest daughter Grace Maddux. She attends LifePointe Church in Falkville Al. Robin enjoys spending time with family and watching her daughter play softball.

She is currently a Director and the ministry secretary, she was led to Mark of Hope International in July 2019, after the tragic death of Vicki, her husband's sister and her very own daughter Courteney, within hours of each other..

Their family was left with unanswered questions and a consuming grief.

Robin has turned a horrible tragedy into an opportunity to honor their memory and legacy, by helping the many vulnerable children that have lost everything and have become orphaned, abandoned, hopeless and hungry.

She chooses to serve God and share the gospel and love of Christ, even amidst her own pain, embracing God's will and plans for her life.

She has taught us that God can use us no matter the situation we may be in.

God's mission can be fulfilled through even the most broken.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”. Jeremiah 33:3

Mark David Amoss was born in California Los Angeles in the USA, married to Janice Carol Amoss( one of the ministry Directors)with two children , moved to Wilsonville Oregon USA with his family to tend to the care of his mother in 2014.Co-founder and International Director of Mark of hope International, Treasurer , a man with extra ordinary love, who has all round God’s transformation , given out all his comfort to serve God, A man with unmeasured faith for God and compassion to the orphans, vulnerable children and the poor, passionate for the Gospel of salvation of Jesus Christ, given all his life to serve God, we call him a Dad of the ministry. He listened to God’s first voice for acall to do God’s work at Mark of Hope International without any question, He is a a true testimony of God’s transformations

Don Carlson From Kansas City Lives in Dallas Texas ,a medical courier ,a man with out pouring love for God as a servant, given all his life to serve God, by the Grace of God he has overcome so many challenges in his life which include beating cancer, He has experienced God’s overwhelming love in his life and dedicated his life to serve God at Mark of Hope International, listened to God’s first voice in his life to serve as one of the Directors in the Board of Directors incharge Missions
